Zoe Saldana, born June 19th, 1978, was the child of Asalia Nazario as well as Aridio Saldana. Her father was Dominican as was her mother, while her father is Puerto Rican. Her parents raised her in Queens, New York. At the age of 10, young, she and her family were relocated into the Dominican Republic, where they would live for the next seven years. Zoe began to develop an interest in performance dancing while she was living in Dominican Republic. At the prestigious ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy Zoe learned both ballet as well as other styles of dance. Not only did her training offer a great outlet for young people who are enthusiastic and active, it would also prove to be an excellent preparation to the beginning of the professional career of an actor. Zoe and her family returned to in the United States with Zoe at 17 and her interest for the arts of dance and theater was a growing. Zoe has not only held her own in big motion-picture productions, but also gained the respect and praise from industry insiders such as Jerry Bruckheimer and Steven Spielberg and other actors/actresses including Tom Hanks, Bernie Mac, Keira Knightley, Ashton Kutcher, Kirsten Dunst and Orlando Bloom. Many of Zoe's co-stars and producers are of the opinion that there is no limit to her limit. Zoe has a broad range of talents, extreme concentration and an unwavering determination to work on projects that feature various characters and subject matter. Her role was recognized by an BIFA award in 2022 for "Best Featured Performance". Deutch together with Katie Silberman, will team together for a second romantic comedy of theirs, Most Dangerous Game. Deutch was a part of Silberman on the Netflix's Set It Up 2018 hit.
