Paula Patton is an actress and producer well-known for her leading roles in the action-spy movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the drama film Precious. Born into a middle-class family living in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Her mom was a film buff and instilled a passion for films in the young girl as well. Paula was active in her school's co-curricular activities and especially captivated by the dramatic arts. She was an excellent actress, and she enjoyed performing alongside her friends. After starring in numerous shows at her high school, Hamilton Magnet Arts High School She decided to pursue acting her occupation. The summer was a blast at the University of Southern California. She received a 3-month contract to produce documentaries on PBS. When she was able to complete the assignment with success, she began working as an assistant for TV documentary production. Later, she moved on to producing documentaries. But she still had a desire to work as an actress even though she was satisfied at her job. She began her journey into acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star for the romance comedy Hitch. Since then, she's played in many popular films and television shows.
